When The Cabaret Project began back in 2017, we had no idea that it would unfold into the wildly successful and highly anticipated performance that it has become in Northeast Ohio.
For 3 consecutive years we have had the opportunity to spotlight some of the most talented vocalists and instrumentalists that Northeast Ohio has to offer, premiering a sold-out installment of the project each December and reprising the performance throughout the following year. Co-Directors/Producers Alexandre Marr and Merissa Coleman and Creative Director Dominic Iudiciani are proud to present high caliber, themed cabaret shows with new arrangements of diverse music in the region’s best venues.
For our 19/20 season, we have created STORM, a cabaret reflecting on the chaos, turbulence, climate change, and conflict in the world around us and within us as human beings. This year's installment features over 20 both established and newly discovered vocalists accompanied by our resident band.
The Cabaret Project is committed to continuing its mission of bringing a live cabaret scene to Northeast Ohio. We strive to both entertain and support the community, collaborating on occasion with local venues to drive fundraising and awareness efforts. Most recently, our team partnered with The Akron Civic Theatre to produce a benefit concert featuring acclaimed NYC vocalist and instructor Natalie Weiss in honor of a young brain cancer survivor local to the Northeast Ohio region.
If you have an idea or would like to host our show to help us further our mission, please send an inquiry to firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
